USA JINGU SHRINE / Usa city

The Usa Jingu Shrine in Usa City is the main shrine of the Hachiman Shrines. The Hachiman shrines are Shinto shrines dedicated to the Hachiman–Okami. With around 40,000 of this type located across Japan, it is one of the most popular Shinto shrines in the country. The Hachiman branch of worship originated from The Usa Jingu Shrine (the main shrine), subsequently spreading throughout the country. Known as one of the three major Hachiman shrines in Japan, it has a rich history and draws visitors with its beautiful architecture and solemn atmosphere.

The grounds of the temple are expansive, with the area leading up to the temple being filled with nature which can be appreciated in every season.
