日田市上津江町の山あいにある「オートポリス」は、九州で唯一、国際自動車連盟（FIA）の厳しい規格を満たすレーシングコース。全長4,674m、高低差52mのメインコースは、テクニカルなコーナーと長いストレートが組み合わさった起伏のあるレイアウトが特徴です。SUPER GTやSUPER FORMULAといった国内トップカテゴリのレースが開催され、迫力ある走行を間近で楽しめます。
一般の来場者もマイカーやマイバイクで体験走行が可能で、プロと同じコースを走ることができる特別な機会も。さらに、ドリフトやジムカーナもできるショートコース（レイクサイドコース）を備え、初心者向けのスクールや練習走行イベントなども開催されています。早朝のレース参加者や遠方の方に便利な宿泊施設「コースサイドロッジ」も整備。標高の高い場所にあるため夏場でも比較的涼しく、澄んだ空気と自然に囲まれた環境でモータースポーツを思い切り楽しめるスポットです。

‘AUTOPOLIS’, located in the mountains of Kamitsue-cho, Hita City, is the only racing track in Kyushu that meets the strict standards of the International Automobile Federation (FIA). The main track is 4,674m in length with a 52m difference in elevation, and features an undulating layout with a combination of technical curves and long straights. It hosts races in Japan’s top categories such as SUPER GT and SUPER FORMULA, and is a place where visitors can enjoy powerful racing close-up.
Visitors can also enjoy the chance to drive their own car or motorbike on a professional-spec track. In addition, the Lakeside Course, a short track designed for drifting and gymkhana, also hosts schools and practice sessions for beginners. The ‘Courseside Lodge’ offers convenient accommodation for early morning race participants and those traveling from afar. The high altitude location keeps temperatures relatively cool even in summer, and the fresh air and natural landscape create an ideal setting for enjoying motorsport.
